Five miles long, with over 3100 acres of safe accessible water, our lough is dotted with small wooded islands throughout its length, one of only 13 sizable wild brown trout lakes remaining in Europe. Valuable spawning grounds for the large population of wild natural trout. A fisherman's paradise. The prolific hatch of fly and the variety of fishing available from April through to September give the Lough its reputation as being one of the finest in Western Europe.

We have excellent beats and hotel and ghillie service available on the best stretches of the Test. Again we can arrange trout and grayling fishing (and tuition) here for you. Our priority is to bring you the very best fishing chalkstream England had to offer, on the Itchen and the Test, with the best guidance whilst still making it good value. To get the best beats on the gin clear Test in very beautiful Hampshire countryside takes a lot of stringpulling and patience - All the fishing is privately owned and syndicated. But we have a man who knows! A variety of beats is available-very classic shallow chalk stream tributary and the deep wide middle Test type water, a mixture of slow and fast water. All of it is sight fishing in gin clear water. Fishing is upstream dry fly mainly and some nymph fishing. Mix of wild and stocked brown trout, rainbow trout and grayling. The trout can be up to 5, 6, even 7 pounds.
