Terms & Conditions

1. Contract

Your contract is with Angling Travel Limited, trading as Angling Travel. All bookings are made and accepted subject to the terms set out in these conditions.

2. Booking

A contract shall exist in respect of a holiday on completion of the booking form and our acceptance of it and return of the booking confirmation.

3. Price

3.1 . The price for the holiday is that specified in the email or website confirmation.

3.2. Included in the price are the accommodation, transport and services  specified in the email or website confirmation.

3.3. Not included in the price,  unless specified in the email or website confirmation, are travel to the holiday  location, alcoholic drinks and other items of a personal nature.

4. Payment

4.1. The deposit specified on the booking form is payable on making the booking. The balance of the price must be paid by the deadline specified in the email or website or brochure and before the commencement date of the holiday_ Some trips require the full balance to be paid earlier - you will be informed of this at the time your place is confirmed. No holiday documentation will be released unless payment has been received in full.

4.2. For your security all monies received from customers are held in a Trust account

4.3. The person in whose name the booking is made acts on behalf of all other persons named and becomes responsible to us for all payments in respect of this booking. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the booking. A copy of your valid insurance policy for travel must be received as scanned legible email attachment or paper copy with your final payment.

5. Revision of price

No price increase will be made less than 30 days before departure but prior to that period the price may be revised upwards or downwards by us on giving notice to you but only to the extent and in the circumstances permitted by the relevant legislation. Payment must arrive within 7 days. if the price increases by more than 10% you may cancel and we will return payment made by you. Cancellation must occur within seven days of receiving the revision notice.

6. Accommodation

6.1 . We reserve the right to alter the details of the accommodation provided but will give you notice of any alterations that significantly reduce the degree of comfort.

6.2. You must pay all extra charges incurred at the hotel to the hotel direct prior to departure.

7. Weather and Fish

You must of course accept that we have no control over the weather or the fish and no refund can be given if the water conditions Of weather are unsuitable or the fish fail to bite. No express or implied guarantees are made that the trip will meet all of the traveler’s expectations.

8. Changes in itinerary

Angling Travel reserves the right to make changes or cancellations in services where such changes are made necessary by circumstances beyond Angling Travel's control.

9. Cancellations

Cancellations can only be accepted if we are notified of them in writing at least 28 days prior to the commencement of the holiday. The letter must be sent by Recorded Delivery. Fully comprehensive insurance which covers the full value of the trip is a condition of booking - your holiday price will normally be refunded to you by the insurance company if the reason for cancellation falls within their terms. In the event of cancellation the following charges become payable to Angling Travel Ltd:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some trips have different cancellation charges. You will be informed of these at the time of booking confirmation and these are the contract in operation for your booking.

 

10. Minimum number

10.1. Some holidays are subject to a minimum number of bookings before it will go ahead and we therefore reserve the right to cancel without paying compensation other than return of any deposit paid if the minimum number is not achieved. We will give notice of such cancellations at least 28 days before the holiday start.

10.2. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday if unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control make this necessary. In this case your deposit will be returned.

10.3. Less than 8 weeks before the holiday we reserve the right to cancel as a result of forces beyond our control and if this is necessary all payments paid to us by you for the holiday will be returned. No compensation or extra expenses you have incurred will be paid.

11. Complaints

If you have any problem during your holiday please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. hotel) immediately so that they have a chance to put things right. We have no control over the suppliers of accommodation, fishing, guiding, bed and boats. We do not accept any liability for the actions or omissions of those involved in these holiday arrangements or of anyone employed by them. We will give you whatever reasonable assistance we can in resolving any dispute. Please report to us any complaints regarding the holiday within seven days of the end of the holiday. We will do our best to resolve the problem but reserve the right to reject the complaint if it is made outside that period. We can accept no liability for liability for death or personal injury and our liability shall be limited to the price of the holiday.

12. Law

This contract shall be governed by the law of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts shall apply.

13. Insurance

Bookings are only accepted if the holiday insurance offered by us as part of the package or some other equivalent insurance acceptable to us is taken out.

14. Release

You release Angling Travel from any and all liability and responsibility, known or unknown, present or future, for any and all loss, injury to person, death, damage to property, or accident, or which may be a result of any delay or change of itinerary, or irregularity connected with the tour package, course or any services purchased, which is beyond its control, including but not limited to, acts of God, transportation problems, action of another traveler, guide or group member or ground operator staff, fire, machinery or equipment malfunction or failure. government actions, wars, civil disturbances, labour disputes, riots, thefts. sickness or weather, and which includes all expenses or damages, direct or consequential, claimed or sustained by group organisers, tour participants, or travelers. and waive Angling Travel based on any claim of negligence by any of the suppliers of services included in the tour holiday package.

15. Responsibility

You are responsible for making yourself fully aware of the safety precautions necessary whilst fishing and undertake to take all precautions as may be necessary to prevent or minimize any accident to yourself or to others and must indemnify us from and against all liability arising from your failure to take such precautions.
